The Twin6 Be are the best seller of the Focal Professional range and the most complete work tool in the SM6 series. The most versatile monitoring speaker of the SM6 line. It responds to the needs of recording, mixing and mastering without having to resort to a second pair of monitors.

Its design allows to enjoy a high SPL level as well as a stable tonal balance at low, medium and high sound levels. Finally, to preserve all the dynamics of the signal, one of the two 6.5 ’woofers works in broadband (high-medium-low), while the other reproduces the signal from 40 to 150 Hz.

A high-end stereo parametric recording and mastering equalizer that works and doesn’t sound like any other.

The REQ-2.2 equalizer uses parallel resonant circuits in an intelligent configuration, so the bandwidth (Q) of the circuit can be adjusted as an active filter. The circuit of the resonant inductor / condenser “tank” operates at a low internal signal level that avoids any saturation effect of the inductor.

As expected, the REQ uses BE40 True Class A circuits developed for the MA-2.2 microphone amplifier to obtain the best possible audio performance that mastering engineers want. It also has the only BE44 discrete line output amplifier that acts as a transformer and can respond to balanced or unbalanced loads.

The MASSIVE PASSIVE is a two channel and four band equalizer, with additional High Pass and Low Pass filters. «» Passive »» refers to the tone setting part of this new and intelligent equalizer design that does not use any active circuits. Only metal film resistors, capacitors and manual winding inductors sculpt the sound, something like a Pultec equalizer.

The tube gain amplifiers take your songs to an excellent level. “”Massive””…. It is an appropriate word for this beast. You have to experience this.

If you’ve ever adjusted the bass and treble in a high-end stereo system, a boom box or even a car stereo, then you’ve used a Baxandall equalizer. Originally designed by now legendary electronics designer Peter Baxandall, these are the most popular equalization curves in the world for a good reason: they are able to improve the sound of everything you throw at it. The Dangerous BAX EQ is the first professional and independent equalizer that uses Baxandall’s famous curves, and the version, designed by legendary designer Chris Muth, has become an instant classic among mixing, mastering and recording engineers. In fact, he is so loved that most are patching him on his full-time audio path, where he sweetens and deepens all kinds of music … day after day, all year.

At the heart of this stereo unit are the high and low equalizer shelves (the Baxandall curves) that give you subtle but deep control over wide sections of the frequency spectrum. The opposite of a surgical tool, the BAX EQ is about sweetening sounds with wide musical settings. Starting well below and above the human hearing limit, broad and smooth equalization curves gently pull audible frequencies in a way that other equalizers cannot.

Shadow Hills Industries has created the Mastering Compressor so you can get world-class dynamic control, with sonic versatility to shape your sound through switchable output transformers. For starters, the Mastering Compressor has stereo and dual-mono modes to suit any application, and separate discrete optical compression sections for two-stage compression techniques. For your convenience, dual Hoyt meters provide signal status at a glance, and stepped dimmers make it easy to recover specific session settings. And once you have your dynamics under control, choose between three different output transformers with your own individual sound taste. The Shadow Hills Industries mastering compressor offers you more flexibility than you thought possible with a dynamic controller.

Experience a completely new paradigm in dynamic control with the Shadow Hills Industries mastering compressor!

This is the beloved machine, which gives me everything that is compression for me. Shadow Hills believe in this team the possibility of sounding beautiful.

They managed to improve compression characteristics and take the sound to another level.

The Black Box Analog Design HG-2 is a line level stereo unit designed to add saturation, harmonics, natural compression, increased RMS and enhance during mixing and mastering. It is designed to easily and naturally do what normally requires multiple pieces of equipment and do better.

The HG-2 uses custom input transformers to power two routes: the main signal path travels through a 6U8A Pentode tube stage that then enters the triode stage, resulting from subtle harmonics to full saturation.

The first time I used the Black Box I noticed an abysmal difference in sound. Adding this process to my Mastering chain gave me many possibilities of color and sound. It is a machine that has allowed me to achieve better results in less time.

The Crane Song Avocet IIA improves on previous Avocet controllers with a 5th generation Quantum DAC with less than 1ps of fluctuation. That is surprisingly low, and it’s just one reason why Avocet IIA sounds so good. With three digital inputs, three analog inputs, three monitor outputs and a built-in headphone amplifier with intercom functionality, the Avocet IIA is flexible enough to be the centerpiece of any studio. A direct subwoofer output is present in each output pair for easy subwoofer integration. And the output levels are programmable in steps of 0.25dB for a precise level match. All digital signals are sampled in excess and fluctuations are reduced for outstanding accuracy during D / A conversion.
